Clinical Therapist

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern in the state of Texas. My education includes a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama, and a Masters of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University.

My professional training and clinical experience comes from working with individuals, groups, and families at SMU Center for Family Counseling and Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center.

My specializations include play therapy, child/adolescent counseling, parent training, and trauma/abuse counseling. I am most passionate about working with children and adolescents. My approach is holistic, viewing my clients as entire individuals, and provide them with a warm, caring and safe environment to build our therapeutic relationship. I meet clients where they are and utilize a variety of modalities to assist them during the therapeutic process including: play therapy, expressive arts, sand tray, and talk therapy.

While working with you or your child, we will work together to find treatment goals and strive to meet them. I believe in the power of change and resiliency, and with my empathic and motivating therapeutic framework, change is possible!
