Grief is like a fingerprint; it is unique to the individual. It does not follow a timeline and there is not a simple “one size fits all” remedy. Grief can take many forms and be expressed in different areas of life. If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed and lost, you are not alone. My hope is to help you through this journey and to meet you where you are. I will take the time to understand your grieving process and learn how I can help you best. I believe that people are resilient and can overcome great obstacles.
One of my passions is helping children and adolescents navigate and connect in their social environment. Do you notice your child struggling to form friendships or being uncomfortable in social situations? Are you worried about the effects technology is having on their social development? This is a common concern among parents. My goal is to work together with your child to develop social skills that build healthy and lasting relationships.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern in the state of Texas and earned my Master of Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania. My clinical experience comes from working with children, adolescents and young adults in an inpatient hospital setting, adolescent partial programs, and residential treatment facilities. I believe in allowing children and adolescents the freedom to express themselves in the way they feel most comfortable. This may be through play, expressive arts, or talk therapy.
