SUPERVISED BY JESSICA CALLAHAN, LPC-S
Life can be more challenging than you would like at times, and feelings of uncertainty or self-doubt may be creeping in. While it may feel easier to avoid or push away uncomfortable sensations, I believe developing a sense of curiosity about them will help you grow and develop resilience. Whatever distressing thoughts or painful emotions have brought you here, no matter how big or small, I truly believe my non-judgmental, compassionate, and warm approach to the therapeutic relationship will help empower you to embrace your true self.
Everyone has a unique story that deserves to be heard and understood. My passion is providing a safe space to help individuals navigate their inner most thoughts and feelings while working together to help you gain a better sense of understanding of yourself, your relationships, and your experiences. I view each client as having the strength and inner wisdom needed to guide their life. My role is helping you reconnect with your own compass so you can take back control of your life. I believe increased self-awareness and understanding how you currently deal with stress is the key to change. During our time together you will gain insight and develop new ways of working through challenging circumstances. To aid you in achieving your goals I incorporate mindfulness, expressive arts, and other approaches tailored to your needs.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton and a Master’s degree from Southern Methodist University. My clinical experience includes supporting college students and adults of all ages facing a wide range of issues including depression, bi-polar disorder, anxiety, anger concerns, sexual abuse, low self-esteem, and relationship concerns.
I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey of healing and will fully support you whenever you feel ready to take the next step!
