My specializations include play therapy, adolescent counseling, parent training, child sexual abuse, trauma, working with highly sensitive personality trait, and expressive arts. I am most passionate about working with children and adolescents. My approach is holistic, viewing my clients as entire individuals, and providing them with a warm, caring and safe environment to build our therapeutic relationship. I meet clients where they are and utilize a variety of modalities to assist them during the therapeutic process including: play therapy, expressive arts, sand tray, and talk therapy.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern in the state of Texas. My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama, and a Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. My professional training and clinical experience comes from working with individuals, groups, and families at SMU Center for Family Counseling and Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center.
