    You are doing your best to navigate life and deserve respect and compassion for your resilience. If you have been through hardship and find yourself feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward, I’m here to help. A caring and knowledgeable connection may be the key you’re needing to work through blocks and discover your way. My passion is facilitating healing and growth in the wake of painful experiences. I serve that purpose through counseling, consultation, supervision, and therapeutic yoga.

     

    Counseling: I use research supported approaches including mindfulness, EMDR therapy, and IFS therapy. These approaches work with your brain and body’s wisdom to increase self-awareness, bring relief and build strength.

     

    Supervision: In a supportive framework of guidance, education and exploration, I foster the overall professional development of Texas LPC-Associates. New counselors can settle into their unique counseling style, build confidence and enhance their competency.

     

    Consultation:  Whether your goal is becoming more effective in trauma informed care, obtaining EMDR certification, becoming an Approved EMDR Consultant, or finding support for ongoing learning, I’d love a chance to work with you.

     

    Therapeutic Yoga: I offer private and small group yoga sessions where the impact of stress and trauma is understood and respected. These classes give consideration for how distress can impact emotional regulation, sense of safety, connection to others and connection to self. Through mindfulness, movement, and education you can strengthen your mind body connection and increase your ability to move from overwhelmed to empowered.
