Have you ever felt broken open?  Something happened in your life that is overwhelming and feels impossible to get through?  You are a warrior.  You can make it through this.

If you or a loved one is struggling with an eating disorder you may feel trapped by numbers, food rules, and rituals.  It’s hard to see your true worth and value apart from your body.  Thoughts are consuming, you feel isolated and alone.  Perhaps your child is struggling, battling a serious illness or depression.  You feel worried or powerless and are seeking help for your family. Maybe you feel paralyzed by anxiety and fear and it keeps you from living the life you want.

I believe that no matter our age, there are times when we feel stuck. Rather than leaning into fear or pain, we might try to control or avoid it, hoping that it will just go away.  Being broken open is a gift that brings opportunity for growth.  It unlocks our true thoughts and feelings, fosters courage and creates a season of change.  It’s a chance to transform anxiety and stress into wisdom and peace and turn pain and discomfort into healing and strength.  Not just get by and survive but LIVE and thrive.  I am here to help!

My training and clinical experience ranges from outpatient counseling and oncology services to inpatient hospitals and treatment settings.  In 2016, I was recognized for my work with children, adolescents and families in DFW Child Magazine as a ‘Mom-Approved Therapist’.

I offer a safe and accepting environment for you to identify the things that no longer serve you and make room for new coping skills and thinking patterns.  Using talk and activity therapy we will work together to achieve your goals.  To learn more about me visit jessicacallicutt.com and call 972.643.8384 to schedule an appointment today!
