Is your child experiencing issues that affect everyday life? Are you feeling like you are inadequately equipped to help your child—or yourself? I can work together with you to find the best solution for you and your family.

Everyone’s path to healing looks different, and I strive to provide a unique approach that fits each person’s and each family’s needs. Regardless of whether we are talking through a concern together or playing it out with a child, my approach will always be collaborative, person-centered, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming to provide you with a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and accepted. I believe that in this unique environment, you or your child can freely explore and identify what is and is not working anymore, and together we can work towards more effective strategies for attaining your and your family’s goals.

My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Duke University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas. My training and clinical experience includes utilizing talk, play, and expressive arts in counseling to work with children, adolescents, adults, and parents experiencing low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral concerns, academic concerns, relationship concerns, parenting concerns, and trauma as well as those coming to counseling to further explore their personal identity and grow.

My goal is to develop a safe, warm, and caring relationship with each client. With the unique power of this counseling relationship — whether it is through play, talk, or expressive arts — I can help you, your child, and your family heal, grow, and feel better. If you would like to talk further to determine if I am a fit for your or your family’s needs, please contact me to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation.
